Having trouble sharing your certificate?

Using a Samsung browser

Before adding your certificate using a Samsung browser, you will need to make this setting change.

  1. Open the 'Internet' app.
  2. Open 'Menu' (bottom right).
  3. Open 'Settings', then 'Useful features'.
  4. Toggle 'Open links in other apps' to ON.

Alternatively, use Google Chrome browser or the Express Plus Medicare app.

Using Safari browser on iOS12 devices

There is a known issue with sharing a digital certificate using Safari browser on an iOS12 device. If you are having trouble, try using Google Chrome or another browser.

Using an Apple device: update needed to iOS12

The latest release of the CIQ app (release 2.3.0) will no longer support iOS11. You will be able to update your device for free to iOS12. If you need assistance to do this, you can contact Apple Support.

Already have the app?

You might need to update the Check In Qld app to the most recent version.

How to update the app

Open the app in Google Play or the App Store. If you do not have the latest version of the app, an 'Update' button will appear. Tap this to update your app.

If your app is up-to-date, the button will display 'Open'.

Download the Check In Qld app from the Google Play store or the App Store.

The Check In Qld app is available on:

  • Apple iPhone, iPad and iPad touch operating iOS 11.0 or later
  • Android devices using Android 5+.

Once the app has downloaded, follow the instructions to add your digital vaccination certificate.
